ABOUT US

The Integrated Pathogen Genomics and Bioinformatics Facility for Surveillance and Research at the Ethiopian Public Health Institute (EPHI) plays a critical role in strengthening Ethiopia’s public health systems through advanced genomic surveillance and bioinformatics research. This facility integrates genomic sequencing technologies with bioinformatics tools to monitor, track, and control the spread of infectious diseases, contributing to both national and global health security.

Developing specialized online resources for pathogen genomics and genome informatics.

Building sustainable capacity in genomics and bioinformatics.
